14 year old Chelsea Smith is a local girl from Drouin, West Gippsland, Victoria.
Last year she went on a Mission trip to help out at a Deaf School in the Philippines and it left a lasting impression on her.
So much so that she is determined this year to raise $20,000 to build a long awaited and much needed kitchen and dining facility, at the Fishermen of Christ Learning Center in the Philippines run by Deaf Ministries International.
Her major fundraising push is coming from a concert, which is being held on June 24th in Warragul, featuring 9 time Golden Guitar winner – Colin Buchanan.
A lot of people who cannot make the concert are wanting to make donations. Chelsea welcomes these very much!
