DMI’s ministry in Zambia has seen 7 churches planted across the country, mostly served by volunteer evangelists, with congregations growing to over 300 people.

As is the case in many countries, communication difficulties mean that the Deaf are exploited and discriminated against. In Zambia, DMI has a strong prison ministry where we have come into contact with a number of Deaf who we believe have been wrongly convicted as a result of having inadequate interpreting services during their trials.
